Structural Steel Design, Concrete Design, Wood Design, Masonry Design. Design of multi-family dwelling housing, government facilities, tenant improvements, aerospace facilities, retail structures, mixed-use structures, remodel, parking garages, aerospace, launch facilities.

Designed concrete, steel, and masonry for a variety of projects of various sizes and uses. Designed PT beams, slabs, columns, transfer level for mixed use residential/commercial and parking garage. Main construction administration point of contact for same project. Designed shear walls and beams according to UFC and ATFP requirements for government buildings. Designed and detailed a variety of tenant outfit, renovations, additions and upgrades for hospitals, office buildings, universities, government buildings, and industrial buildings. Designed and detailed screenwalls, dunnage, canopies, and miscellaneous steel for a variety of projects and applications. Worked with CAD department to update office portions of the Revit and AutoCad typical detail library for code changes and other updates. Edited specifications for various projects.

Conducted research on concrete of varying mixtures in accordance with ASTM standards. Used nondestructive testing to evaluate deterioration of concrete. Gave presentations to students and faculty.

Worked on Diagnostics and Repair team with a variety of emerging technologies including; multi-array ground penetrating radar, radiofrequency identification tags, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and differential thermal analysis. Used standard ASTM tests and traditional methods for evaluating concrete. Translated technical papers between Japanese and English.
