Prince Plastics ceased operations at its Colombo-based manufacturing plant and relocated to Peliyagoda. This relocation was undertaken to leverage the advantages of a larger operational space and to benefit from reduced electricity costs. The decision to move the manufacturing facility aligns with the company's objectives to optimize resources and enhance operational efficiency. I led the team in taking apart the machines and infrastructure at Prince Plastics in Colombo. Then, I organized setting them up again at the new factory in Peliyagoda.

-I oversaw maintenance for Weber GmbH's Extruder machines and Yan Hing Machinery's Injection Moulding machines. My responsibilities included seamless communication and overall management of their maintenance procedures. -I acquired proficiency in PLC programming for injection molding machines, to manupulate settings to accommodate raw materials sourced from various suppliers, to ensure quality and affordability. -Representing Prince Plastics, I attended Plastic and Rubber exhibitions in China, Hong Kong, and Germany from 2014 to 2016. My goal was to stay updated with the latest advancements in machinery, enhancing our operational standards. -In addition to staying abreast of industry advancements, I prioritized nurturing strong relationships with our suppliers during these exhibitions, fostering partnerships crucial for sustaining our operations at Prince Plastics.

My role extends beyond a single department, allowing me exposure across various facets of the company, including production, maintenance, sales and logistics. This holistic approach fosters a well-rounded understanding of the interconnectedness of different operational areas.
