Responsibilities included general oversight of all health and safety systems with direct responsibilities over all Industrial Hygiene activities, the Emergency Response Team, the Contractor Safety System, the Radiation Safety programs, the Asbestos programs, and the Fire Protection systems. Also conducted PPE assessments, Health and Safety Training, and authorized hazardous work by permit systems including Hot Work and Confined Space Entry.

Responsibilities included providing professional consultation and direct assistance to 13 chemical plant and associated laboratory locations spread throughout the U.S. from California to New Jersey and parts of Canada. Conducted OSHA Compliance and Process Safety Management Audits, interpreted and communicated Federal Regulation, developed an Incident Investigation and Incident Management system, maintained and interpreted Corporate Safety Statistics, assisted in developing a Corporate Process Safety Management systems, developed Corporate Procedures, developed and conducted Health and Safety Training, and coordinating all Industrial Hygiene activities for all 13 Establishments.
