• Undertake Site Inspection Requests (SIR) for various Mechanical systems such as HVAC system, Drainage System, Water Supply System, Fire Protection System, Irrigation System, Storm Water System, Sewerage System, and LPG System to ensure that the mechanical installations are in compliance with the project specifications, approved method statement, shop drawings, related authority regulations and related standards. • Undertake Material Inspection Request (MIR) for delivered mechanical services materials to ensure compliance with the approved material approval and project specifications. • Prepare the Site Observation Report (SOR) / Non Conformance Report (NCR) for any defective or inferior quality works observed at the site. • Undertake snagging and de-snagging inspections for all mechanical services for area requested. • Review of project documents such as Prequalification of Contractors, Shop Drawings, Material Approval Request, Method Statements, As-built Drawings and Operation Maintenance Manuals.

• Responsible for implementation of Quality Control Procedures and plans for providing more efficient works, review and approve inspections test plan and quality control plan • Responsible to supervise the site activities to ensure diligent performance • Responsible to handle daily site inspections and make sure that work had been executed according to project standards and specification. • Ensure that the method statements for every site activities are implemented accordingly • Liaison with the Company Representative for the various Mechanical Inspections such as WIR, MIR, T&C, Snagging and De-snagging, and SHR. • Coordinate with the Company Representative on all quality matter. • Distribute relevant QA/QC documents to Site Personnel/Subcontractor • Control all nonconformance reports and provide remedial action. • Carry out Project Quality Control instructions and action remedial responses. • Monitor the implementation of the approved Project Quality Plan (PQP). • Assure all technical documents related to site quality control are current status. • Verify that the quality related to site activities is in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.

• Ensuring that the project MEP subcontract is executed in accordance with quality, time and cost constraints and as per approved method statement. • Coordination of MEP interfaces with other elements of construction. • Coordination and administration of MEP related material, equipment and drawing submittals. • Ensuring MEP work is executed on site in accordance with the contract specifications, agreed procedures and method statements. • Liaison with the QA / QC Engineer, MEP inspectors and relevant staff. • Ensuring that the MEP subcontractor provides and adheres to the necessary QA control documentation in an orderly and organized manner. • Ensure that O & M manuals and related documentation is prepared, reviewed, submitted and approved in accordance with contract requirements and programmed completion date. • Ensuring coordination of all the MEP services with the false ceiling subcontractor. • Providing temporary supply installations, load charts and drawings for the same.

• Prepare and review Shop Drawings; such as Composite Drawings (high level and underground), False Ceiling Lay-out, and Tiles Lay-out for probable collision of trades and ensure coordination of all systems such as; Sewage System, Drainage System, Domestic Water Supply System, HVAC System, BMS System, Fire Fighting System; Fire Alarm System, Lighting, and Electrical Layout. • Ensure correct location of sleeves thru walls & floors and deciding the best invert levels for all mechanical ducts and pipelines. • Detailed Piping Design of Pump Room, AHU Room, and Heat Exchanger Room. • Material take-off and estimates based on Design Layout / Approved Drawings. • Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Architects. • Familiarizes self with the required Specifications, BOQ, and IFC Drawings. • Review material submittals as per required specification and check material delivered to site as per delivery and approved submittal. • Project monitoring of work accomplishments. • Follow-up pending works as per schedule. • Ensure correct materials & equipments used as per approved submittals. • Coordinate with third party for Testing & Commissioning of HVAC and Chilled Water System. • Coordinate with third party for flushing / chemical treatment of chilled water system and sterilization of domestic water system. • Prepare Hand-over Documents; i.e. Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Method Statement, Spare Parts List, and As-Built Plans. • Coordinate and follow-up with suppliers or sub-contractors for the submission of commissioning sheets of Equipments, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Warranty, Spare Parts List, Method Statement, and Testing & Commissioning of all equipments and trades. • Utilizes AutoCAD 2007 Program and Microsoft Office Programs.

• Provides a detailed Mechanical, Piping, & Structural service to all User Departments within HADEED. • Conceptual and detailed design, plus the preparation of Installation and Fabrication / Manufacturing Details. • Continuously updates relevant drawings to accurately reflect the existing site conditions and configurations. • Familiarizes self with HADEED Standards, SABIC Standards and DIN Standards. Maintains and controls references like catalogues, brochures, and manuals. • Utilizes Micro Station SE & V8 Software with I-RAS B Intergraph Program and EDMS (Engineering Drawing Management System) or Model Server Teammate Window Client Program.
