• Develop departmental goals and objectives based on strategy, customer expectations, corporate policies and leading practices. • Ensure adequate staffing levels by conducting recruitment, selection and hiring of new employees with support from retail staffing specialists. • Implement metrics to measure efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment and volunteer department resources. • Champion the performance and talent management processes, including leading talent reviews and succession planning. • Update ATS (Kenexa) with the ability to create reports on key talent acquisition metrics for all recruitment platforms. • Assist in building relationships with community partners, and educational institutions to help support recruiting efforts. • Support recruitment activities by posting positions internally and externally • Assist in seasonal hire initiatives as per quarterly store objectives which includes policy and program development and implementation and process generation. • Collaborate with Colleges/Universities and communities across Canada to aid in recruitment efforts for major seasonal hiring.

• Assist in daily HR duties and functions while maintaining all client accounts. • Aid in the hiring process by actively seeking top talent through various recruitment platforms. • Work closely with HR Coordinators to ensure new hire orientation and compliance is complete. • Conduct reference checks, background checks, and vulnerable sector screen checks. • Participate in market assessments to anticipate various industry needs. • Create effective recruitment strategies and pipelines to access talent to deliver timely placements. • Maintain up-to-date client and candidate files. • Assist all on-boarding activities such as scheduling interviews and orientations. • Ensure all candidates equipped with the necessary tools and licenses required for the position. • Conduct exit interviews in order to gain metrics of turnovers.
