Door to Door Organics's mission is to deliver food that is good tasting, good for you, good for the community and good for the environment. The software engineering team is responsible for the ecommerce website, backend ERP and tools and the testing and release process. * Worked on and/or oversaw dozens of major company initiatives, including almost doubling retention, increasing average order size by 46% and implementing a new ERP. * Managed 3 teams and 13 people, including Java developers, ERP developers, IT, BI and SQA * Lead the early design of the Agile process. Oversaw many improvements to our process. * Started as lead engineer in team of 3, then built the team to 13. * Lead the mentoring of newer employees. Lead the career development of my teams.

Door to Door Organics was a start-up when I joined in 2010. It's mission is to deliver food that is good tasting, good for you, good for the community and good for the environment. The tech team is responsible for development of our ecommerce website, internal tools and the management of our network and office computers. * Was a one-man DevOps team during our start-up days. * Designed and built all of DTDO's major products, including eCommerce website, recipes site, customer portal and backend Microsoft ERP. * Worked in Java, HTML, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL.

* Created start-up to develop and market next-generation IT operations applications. * Developed Reliable Response Notification product. * Developed external API based on SOAP, using Axis for Java. Developed command-line client in .NET, Perl, PHP and Java. Provided WSDL files and documentation. * Developed external RESTful API. * Supports a variety of mobile devices, including pagers, instant messaging, email, phone, and RIM BlackBerry.

* Built business solutions in Ruby, JavaScript, PHP and JavaScript * Worked with large and small companies. From Coke to Skaffles. * Provided integrations to Ariba, JD Edwards, TomTom GPS devices, VerticalResponse, PDF printing and others. * Managed a team of software developers to deliver solutions on time and under budget.

* Liason between software development and production technical operations. * Worked with F5 load balancers, HP SuperDome computers, virtual server provisioning and geo-located round-robin DNS. * Oversaw migration from mainframe to Linux servers, from ClearCase to CVS and implemented unit testing.
