My role within the group is always varied from managing the warehouse and staff to maintaining the BOM and Consignment stock for varied projects. I liaise daily with suppliers in Italy to maintain a flow of material between GWM and their sub contractor. Advising on Inbound and Outbound expectations while ensuring the transport costs are efficient and cost effective.

Implementing a new Sage Manufacturing MRP System. Control Group purchasing to reduce costs. Assess stock levels for current production plans and enable a LEAN manufacturing system. Advising fellow members of staff on correct Health & Safety protocols. Quality control using CAD drawings of manufactured parts. Liaise with suppliers regarding discounts and missed delivery targets.

The main client is BASF chemical company. DHL provides warehouse space, loading facilities for lorries to Europe along with a container service for the rest of the world. - Completing checks on all inbound material from BASF. (Qty, Condition, Batch Number) - Create daily load plan for European bound lorries. - ADR and Vehicle checks on all lorries bound for Europe. - Advising fellow members of the team on loading procedures and safety. Through my advice and monthly meetings with the manager. They have adopted the following new systems to enable better and more efficient loading times, safer operations in the warehouse and better communication in teams. On arrival the lorries are checked in, They have a Lorry check and ADR check if required. This enables DHL to report any failures to the customer immediately enabling the customer to arrange alternative transport. Previously these checks were conducted prior to loading. With two team meetings a week, I have suggested that one is conducted with all staff and the other just with specific teams. This enables better communication as the amount of people is reduced. Ensuring if someone has questions the team can discuss instead of the person feeling embarrassed to talk. This was based on Toolbox talks I used to conduct in a previous company.

A small local plumbing tradesman. - Assisting the business owner with on site Health & Safety. - Providing plumbing labour on-site with refurbished properties or new built properties. - Supplied labour to Berge Lacke GMBH in Grünstadt.

Cafe Solo are a local cafe serving cakes and hot/cold beverages in a Mediterranean surrounding - Perform maintenance tasks within the complex. - Attend breakdowns including attending electrical failures, - Plumbing and building new facilities.

Deliver 120+ parcels to household and business addresses. - Area covered was Ludwigshafen, Freinsheim, Weisenheim am Sand & Bad Dürkheim per day. - Ensuring timed delivery was met.

The national stadium was having all of the executive suites/boxes refurbished. - Unload vehicles of building materials and furniture. - Check the delivered goods for damage and quantity. - Assign material to storage areas within the stadium, relating to the construction. - Control inbound construction traffic. - Advise CDM on HSE matters witnessed while on site. - Assist trades people with labour.
