I studied Music and Sound Design Technology along with 3D design to allow me to further my development of loudspeaker and physical acoustic design.

5 Year Engineering Apprenticeship gaining EITB Technician Apprentice years 1 to 5 with day release to gain BTEC

I gained a Scholarship with HITC on leaving school to study Mechanical Engineering. I spent two years learning all aspects of mechanical production in a multi work shop training centre. Over the two years I spent a 3 month training period in the following areas with a specialist skill focus at the end of year 1 and 2. From this time I gained experience in machining and mechanical manufacture which allowed me to be competent and confident in a tool room environment. At the end of year 2 I was award the Starett Award for Engineering for a design and build project where I designed and built a bespoke rotating head for a milling machine which was used by a local company.
