For the longest time I thought I was selling tech and giving great service to esnure happy clients, but in factm it turns out I was selling data and trying to understand our client's business until our data matched the needs of their business models, thereby ensuring that the tech compliments our client's needs. I had a great career at CitySprint and a fantastic time working with amazing leaders who pioneered new ideas in the sameday courier market. We grew from an annual turnover of £30M to over £200M when I left in 2018 to move abroad. My role was to manage the day to day activities of the courier asset team, supporting the CityTrakker, our Courier App and associated assets. The team and I supported 3000+ field workers based throughout the UK from our base in South London. We had one mission & focus, 99.99% hardware & software uptime which kept us busy from morning til evening. The environment was challenging & demanding, so we were constantly learning & innovating. We failed as a team and win as a team. If you're not learning it's because you're not failing and failure was permitted, in fact it was encouraged.

My most exciting and scarierst job I've ever had. This unique service offered by WestOne Cars where mobile drivers arrived with a fold up motorcycle could be booked to collect and deliver a large range of vehicles covering the M25 and beyond. I'll forever be grateful for this chapter in my life despite several close calls on the road.

First job out of college in my chosen career path and one I will forever treasure because it shaped me into the worker I am today. I was a field technician travelling every corner of the Western Cape of South Africa installing, maintaining and repairing Two-Way radio & GPS technology in the early days of vehicle tracking. I fitted all types of vehicles, base stations (any shape or size) and repeater towers in remote locations, often by myself, but I did enjoy the big jobs with the entire team supporting each other. This was most certainly the job that taught me to be self-reliant and self-disciplined in my field of work, and in many challenging situations forced me to think outside the box, to innovate and be creative with limited resources. This job also took me to some amazing places of South Africa as an added bonus and I got to witness some mezmerising sunsets & sunsrises.
