Darko Knezevic

Darko facilitated discovery sessions with hospital stakeholders and end users to understand business pain points, workflows, user needs, and technical requirements, translating findings into Dynamics 365 Business Central solution designs and provided demonstrations. Darko served as a trusted technical liaison across business teams, developers, project managers, and external vendors, clarifying solution capabilities, requirements, dependencies, and outcomes. Darko developed architecture documents for solutions that utilize AWS, Microsoft Business Central, and .NET technologies for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Electronic Requisitioning, and Finance, and developed architecture views for the internal Data Warehouse solution.

Darko created and enforced Project Management Office policies, templates, and dashboards for the largest transportation project in North America. At Onxpress Transportation Partners, Darko worked with the Product Manager of the team to develop the roadmap of the Operations System technologies. Darko a led project team of Solution Architects, Technical Analysts, Quality Assurance Analyst, Project Managers and Developers to implement Transit Operational cloud technologies (IVU Traffic Technology [SaaS Solution]) for Train Crew, Train Service Planning, Fleet and Network Operations Centre. At ONxpress Transportation Partners, Darko developed project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables for the Operation Systems Program. Darko worked on various project artifacts for the IVU Implementation project within included the following: Conceptual Solution Architecture Documentation, Logical Architecture Documentation, Integration Flow Documentation, Budgeting, Transition to Run Documentation , Build Book Documentation and Run Book Documentation.

Darko led the design, implementation and customization of MS SharePoint-based solutions for Collaboration, Content Management, Workflows and Enterprise Search. Technical initiatives related to migration and support of MS SharePoint Online were also led by Darko. Application design and technical leadership were provided to ensure alignment to business objectives and application lifecycle. Darko managed the modernization of internal applications through the utilization of the MS Power Platform. Internal applications were rebuilt using MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, MS Power BI and MS Power Platform. Current business and Information Services solutions & environments were analyzed to detect deficiencies, recommend improvements and kaizen (continuous improvement) processes. Darko promoted automation, emerging technologies, alternative development initiatives to introduce new tools and new technology to the application landscape. Darko collaborate with local and regional Information Services teams to deliver enterprise solutions that are scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with evolving business needs. Constantly, Darko was a liaison with technology partners and vendors on Application Architecture issues, recommended and provided input to technology strategy, architecture, standards and patterns.

Darko is supporting Enterprise Architects towards the development of Enterprise Architecture artifacts and attending Gate Review and Approval bi-weekly meetings as Enterprise Architecture representative. He collaborates with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to review the objectives and constraints of I&IT solutions and support conformance with current Enterprise Architecture standards, policies and roadmaps, which includes TOGAF methodologies and ArchiMate V3. On a daily basis, Darko designs, develops, and manages the Enterprise Architecture Repository and the Enterprise Knowledge Repository. Darko manages and develops the Enterprise Architecture governance processes and supports the Chair of the Architecture Review Committee and Solution Design Working Group. He provided technical support to Metrolinx lines of business using Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio, and ServiceNow to Business Analysts, Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Business Architects. Darko manages the accuracy of the Application Portfolio Management tool and provides opportunities for continuous improvement for Enterprise Architecture processes. On a regular basis, Darko supports the development of Architecture standards and policy compliance across Architecture domains as well as traceability of business objectives. His work involves assisting Data Architects to develop data models based on the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK). Darko works on metamodels that will be used by the Business Management Office and I&IT Operations. He occasionally explores various Enterprise Architecture and Product Management tools for implementation. Currently, he builds business roadmaps and product roadmaps using various Enterprise Architecture tools. Darko build various Enterprise Architecture views utilizing BiZZdesign HoriZZon and Kibana. Darko has successfully completed training of BiZZDesign Enterprise Studio Basic and ArchiMate 3.0 Foundation.

Darko supported Technical Delivery Managers and Enterprise Architects to develop Architecture Review Committee artifacts for developing an additional pre-production environment to enable performance testing for projects and deployments. He continuously evolved the Document Management processes for formatting, editing, uploading and archiving documents on the Operations Shared Knowledge Repository (OSKR). Consistently, he assisted the Deployment Support Service unit to utilize the Configuration Management Database to provide a single consolidated source of server information for Patch Management processes. Darko has contributed to the development of the revised Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework and Roadmap. He supported the ERM governance processes and assisted towards updating the Infrastructure Service Risk Registry. His collaboration with Security Management lead towards implementing the ERM Management tool RSA Archer GRC Platform to automate the Infrastructure Risk Registry. Darko supported the expansion of the Enterprise Systems Management toolset utilization to include application performance management, configuration discovery and patch deployment. On a weekly basis, he assisted towards the initiation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reporting for Technical Operations Centre and Deployment Support Services.

Darko worked on the development and the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Program (Framework and Governance). He assisted towards the examination of systemic risk reporting, escalating risk management issues and continuous improvement opportunities based on best practices. Consistently, Darko monitored the Enterprise Risk Management Program and ensures that risks are being managed within the appropriate risk tolerance levels against the Agency’s Annual Business Plan. Frequently, he worked with the Internal Audit Team. Darko's key responsibilities included the following: support decision making processes though the implementing of Enterprise Risk Management processes and policies; working collaboratively with risk owners to collect and consolidate updates to enterprise risks and action plans; conduct research; facilitating risk discussion and reporting to the Board of Directors, Enterprise Risk and Governance Committee, Senior Management Committee, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat; and managing and implementing the organizational change management model to provide appropriate communication, awareness, training, engagement, technology, consultation and reinforcement of the Enterprise Risk Culture Program and the eHealth Ontario risk culture to internal and external stakeholders.

Darko worked with clients and stakeholders to assess and document reporting requirements. Consistently, he developed reports using reporting tool SAP Business Objects InfoView (Web Intelligence X1 R1/R2), BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6, Cisco Historical Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, IBM Rational Publishing Engine, MS Excel, and MS Access and analyzes the required information and data. His work involved developing, implementing and maintaining service level and operation reporting, and related documentation and training. Occasionally, Darko worked with the Cognos Team to develop reports. Darko performed constant analysis of data using data mining techniques to provide opportunities for continuous improvement to existing reports and ensure accuracy and consistency with the process owners of all metrics and reports. On a daily basis, Darko ensured that regularly scheduled reports are delivered either through manual processes or through ensuring that automated processes are operating to schedule. He also developed SharePoint sites and provided assistance towards streamlining processes using MS SharePoint. Darko was the SharePoint Administrator for his team. He assisted Change Management to process RFCs (requests for change).

Darko developed ad hoc reports, automated reports, and analyses with minimal direction to management to ensure all SLA targets and performances measurements are met. His work also involved assisting management in conducting analysis of new business initiatives and changes in reports to improve the development of KPI reporting and analysis. He created scorecards and dashboards for managers and supervisors to coach technical and business staff to improve efficiency and productivity. On a daily basis, Darko used SAP Business Objects InfoView (Web Intelligence X1 R1/R2), BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6, MS Excel and Cisco Crystal Reports to develop charts, graphs and metrics for supervisors and management. He also provided assistance to the Knowledge Management Team and provide technical support to the SharePoint site of the team.

Darko developed business cases, policy recommendations, request for proposals, request for quotations, a payment agreement form and a transfer payment agreement. His work involved many projects within Corporate IT, Service Desk, Drug Profile Viewer (DPV), Change Management, Medication Management, Network Deployment, Business Architecture and Review Committee, IT Auditing, and Business Solutions and Desktop Support

At work Darko used accounting programs for data analysis, performed billing, data processing, and various other business administration duties. He calculated accounts receivable, analyzed payments, and organized company invoices.
