Design for Sustainability and Strategic Innovation in Complex Systems. The Environmental Sustainability through the application of Systemic Design in industrial processes as well as the ecodesign approach on products and services is the aim of my professional and accademic activities in order to promote a Circular Economy. I have got an MSc in Eco-Design and a Ph.D in Production Systems & Industrial Design at Politecnico di Torino, accompanied by postdoctoral research at Bioengineering Department - University of Washington. I have more than 10 years of work experience in the field of sustainability consulting and project management both for private companies and in academic projects. At present, the application of the life cycle thinking approach to the textile and outdoor industry probably represents the most relevant activity. Fundamental Research on the water purification system based on the Exclusion Zone phenomenon with a specific focus on the highly hydrophilic material (QELBY) developed by the Quantum Energy Company. Technical support for scaling-up the patented filter based on Nafion tubes by proving the efficacy of the multi-channel approach. Part of the team selected as a finalist at the Gulf Coast Innovation Challenge 2015 with the “filter-less” filtration project based on the EZ phenomenon.

As a co-founder I provide technical and scientific support for both designing and developing prototypes by leading a small research group based in Turin (Italy) with specific skills in micro/nano fabrication and material science. I'm in charge of collaborating with the SMAT R&D Centre to perform water analysis and specific measurements on the samples collected during the testing phase.
