Dara Nourbakhsh
Medical Device Technician @ IQVIA
About
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Jewish Studies on the Pre-Health track from Tulane University, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Georgetown University, where I also completed business-focused coursework. Through this academic foundation, I developed a strong interdisciplinary perspective that bridges life sciences, social sciences, and business—fueling my interest in the intersection of healthcare innovation and strategic business development. Currently, I work at IQVIA MedTech, where I perform diagnostic testing on medical devices such as syringes, pumps, and PCUs. In addition, I recently completed an internship at Lionchase NorthAmerica, a venture capital and private equity startup, where I gained hands-on experience across all stages of the investment process. These experiences have deepened my understanding of both the scientific and financial aspects of the healthcare and biotechnology industries. Looking ahead, I aim to transition into the business side of biotechnology, exploring opportunities in analytics, finance, marketing, operations, project management, regulatory affairs, or talent acquisition. I am particularly interested in working with healthcare/ biotechnology startups, clinical research organizations, and other innovative organizations within the life sciences industry. I am skilled in ChatGPT, Gemini, HubSpot, Asana, Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP Concur, Chrome River, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce. As a trilingual communicator (English, Spanish, and French), I value engaging with diverse audiences and fostering inclusive collaboration. In the future, I aspire to pursue an MBA to further expand my expertise at the crossroads of healthcare, business, and innovation. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges—please feel free to connect or reach out to discuss opportunities or shared interests!
