* Produced a detailed report evaluating HSBC’s environmental * performance on the latest Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index of the Carbon Disclosure Project. * Performed analysis of HSBC’s exposure to diverse investments such as the palm oil sector, among others, which gave way to better- * informed decisions on how best to handle environmental risks. * Involved in global remittances strategy, exploring links with microfinance institutions and other distribution channels.

Conducted research concerning the role that shareholders, directors or others perform as stewards in seeking to influence companies in the direction of long-term, sustainable performance that derives from contributing to human progress and the well being of the environment and society. Tomorrow’s Company is a non-profit research and agenda-setting organization committed to creating a future for business that makes equal sense to staff, shareholders and society.

Involved in national and international litigations on issues such as conservation, protected areas and resource access. - Provided legal advice on major projects, bringing together investors and communities towards achieving beneficial solutions to all stakeholders involved. Involved in projects of infrastructure, energy, land use, forestry, among others. - Performed legal environmental audits to firms, working towards improving compliance beyond regulations. - Contributed in the drafting of national regulations. The Mexican Centre for Environmental Law is a Non Governmental Organization, independent and without political orientation committed with contributing to national efforts to improve the area of application and compliance of Environmental Law.

Performed legal environmental audits for compliance with regulations, especially concerning M & A’s. - Prepared legal environmental strategies for compliance, starting with acquiring necessary permits, authorizations and concession titles before competent authorities to providing for its continuous compliance. - Assisted in the development of CDM projects through legal national and international instances.
