I've overseen and been hands-on involved in the design, development and deployment of numerous software and hardware projects across a wide range of platforms and disciplines. >> Prior to founding Rush, I was founder and CTO of startup PocketLogistics. I lead the development of the first mobile app using Navman Wireless’ public API infrastructure. This was acquired by Navman Wireless in 2009 and rebranded as OnlineAVL2 for iOS >> Lead Integrator & Senior Specialist at then-startup Unimarket SaaS ERP - integrating large scale finance systems covering scalability, fault tolerance & security. I was Unimarket’s first employee and saw the company through its first growth phase into the US and first customer implementations. >> Lead infrastructure tooling specialist at DigiPost - I lead the development of tools and automation systems for film storage, review and process workflow management at one of New Zealand’s first and most established post production houses, DigiPost - The tools allowed DigiPost to improve efficiency and quality on well known Hollywood TV and Film productions as well as countless global commercials for top tier brands. This role required deep understanding of network infrastructure, design and implementation of large-memory use-cases while maintaining performance and fault tolerance. >> I am passionate about social equity and fairness, I have always been involved in philanthropic and non-profit organisations in poverty alleviation and education.
