Appointed as site manager working within the high-voltage electrical infrastructure management contractor division of the business. as an Independent Connections Provider (ICP). Working on behalf of the client I have been involved in the project delivery of a 22 megawatt solar farm and have been responsible for site managing both the civils aspects and electrical installation elements of the project from conception through to completion. I have been working collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating effective leadership qualities. Working on multiple site related tasks simultaneously, fostering synergy amongst diverse teams of subcontractors and clients. • Efficiently working at optimum levels to meet the requirements and commitments of the project scopes and deliverables. • Overseeing and reviewing works carried out by civil and M&E contractors. • Pre-construction coordination of design, planning and procurement activities. • Organising the logistics of all equipment and material deliveries, coordinating and planning work and monitoring overall progress. • Upholding company HSEQ policies on site. • Working closely with the design team, Civil and electrical Project Managers, and Compliance Manager to ensure the projects meet required timescales, deliverables, quality standards and specifications. • Working with various clients and stakeholders to ensure the projects are delivered successfully. • Ensuring works are carried out in line with current Building Regulations and good practice. • Maintaining diligent change management and risk management processes on behalf of the PM’s through the project lifecycle. • Established working and interfacing with the DNO’s (Distribution Network Operator) throughout the lifespan of the project.

Responsible for ensuring that the works elements under my control are delivered to the correct quality and in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Murphy & Sons Ltd Client: United Utilities Location: Advance Plus Site, Carlisle Wastewater Treatment Works Project: Major civil infrastructure upgrade works. Short term contract role: Senior Section Engineer - Covering annual leave for the resident senior section engineer. Helping with supervision to assist multiple civils teams on site. Liaising with specialist subcontractors on site such as diamond drillers/cutters and pipe insulators/ Recording the installations of new assets. Collating and processing all GPS data captured for the handover required for the preparation of as built drawings. Managing and supervision of site operatives and sub-contractors, steel fixers, pipe installation, electrofusion/butt fusion, excavation and backfilling. Checking existing and proposed ground levels. Setting out point (SOP) locations for the installation of a new substation within the water treatment works facility via GPS. Supervision of site based electrical and civils personnel on a day-to-day basis. Providing civil groundworks duties as part of a team on various HV utilities civil and rail projects within the south-eastern region of the business. Duties involved site set-up, the excavation of grounds and installation of HV utility assets on behalf of the client ranging from LV pilot cables to HV cables.
