As a worker at Palm Deli, I did many things, such as: make sandwiches, work the cash register, and take orders. Working at a very busy deli improved my ability to work under pressure in a quick and precise fashion. This job also taught me balance because I would have to balance working around thirty hours a week with school and the high school basketball team.

As a referee I learned to deal with children even better than before. Not only did we referee the children’s games we also were teachers and taught the kids as the games and season went on. The hardest part of these jobs was dealing with the angry parents, that were unhappy for a multitude of a reasons.

This job was by far my favorite. In a fast-paced environment, time flies by without seeming too. I enjoy working around other people who share the same goal as me which is was in this case: make the customer as happy as possible. I learned to multi-task even better, worked on memorization, and learned to communicate well.
