Plan all inbound raw material purchases to support production. Key part of keeping inventories down to support our 35+ inventory turns. Create and maintain material layouts for warehouse. Frequent use of PLEX system to order, and track materials among other things. Put systems in place to sustain accurate inventory and track and adjust when needed.

Plan and schedule the daily production of all stamped metal components. Produce 300 + different part numbers to support assembly of finished goods. Plan the purchase of metal to coincide with the schedule. Forecast metal usage to ensure consistent supply from vendors. Build models in excel to support scheduling and plannning. Implement lean concepts in order to reduce inventory and increase efficiency.

Worked with the purchasing team converting requisitions into PO's in SAP. Helped out with sourcing by requesting and analyzing quotes from suppliers and negotiating rates, along with setting up and running e-auctions. Saved over $50,000 running these reverse and dutch auctions. Facilitating RFP's and RFQ's to help generate cost savings.Worked on nationwide cost savings effort to find a vendor capable of managing our field sanitation across the entire country. Analyzed RFP data for service agreements across the US to help make decisions and quantify cost savings.
