Danny Murong

Danny started his career as a Multimedia Developer at WDS Global after graduating with a First Class Honour Degree in Multimedia Design from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in collaboration with University of Huddersfield, UK. With his interest in how things work and a given opportunity, he learnt front-end programming from a mentor and started building Rich Internet Applications (RIA) before moving to OgilvyOne as a Content Engineer. After 5 years of experience in the industry, he partnered a software engineer and co-founded Onyx Island Pte. Ltd. in 2010. Over the years of managing and growing the business, Onyx Island now has a staff strength of 38 Islanders across 5 teams – Business, Producer, Social Media, Creative and Technology teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & Bangladesh. The company’s clientele spans across various industries such as Banking and Finance, Insurance, Healthcare, Government agencies, Automobile, Education, Hospitality, Retail. Some of the key accounts that he manages are StarHub, Philip Morris Singapore, Sport Singapore, Parkway Cancer Centre, Food Industry Asia, National Geographic, Salesforce APAC, Prime Group International. The projects he has consulted and delivered ranges from digital/social media marketing campaigns, UIUX design, website and CMS development, HubSpot CRM implementation and systems integration, custom-build solutions to solve business, marketing or operational challenges. His strong belief in meeting end-user’s expectations and delighting the customer’s experience is vital in this 4th industrial revolution and is being rigoured into the works in which Onyx Island produces and delivers.
