Manage a team of Category Leads and work closely with key business partners to ensure technology needs are delivered through the appropriate category strategy and buying channels. Manage all vendor relationships overseeing the strategic and tactical sourcing and spend for all indirect categories across enterprise. Create and champion standard policies and procedures to improve justification, decision making, and approval requirements for corporate expenditures. Build cross-department relationships with company leaders and budget owners for true alignment, support, and accountability.

Oversaw $1.5+ Billion contract portfolio and provided leadership for group of procurement senior professionals in US and Bangalore, India being responsible for championing the development, communication, and oversight of key organizational and process strategies to reflect and shape Procurement’s evolving role as a source of competitive advantage. Category oversight include: software, consulting, contract labor, business process outsourcing services, enterprise hardware, store equipment, telecommunications, digital eCommerce, marketing, HR, legal, and corporate strategy Enabled JCPenney’s business growth by identifying ways to reduce operating cost and optimize capital structure, directing project outcomes to positively impact EBITDA year-over-year.
