I have worked in Higher Education for 28 years. I have led University Advancement in a VP role for 12 years. Additionally, I have taught Business courses (management and Organizational Behavior) and liberal arts courses in the classroom. After completing my PhD from the University of South Carolina on the topic of fundraising and leadership, I was recognized by CASE International as the Grezebach Award winner for the best research on fundraising in 2007. I enjoy the opportunity to share with my colleagues what I have learned and my article "Leading Where It Counts" was published in CASE Currents as well as the International Journal of Educational Advancement and the Alumni and Development Report. My speaking has carried me to such groups as: The Planned Giving Society of Indiana, CASE Newcomer Conferences in San Diego, Nashville, Miami, Fort Worth.
