About
I have spent 24 years building products, companies, and manufacturing operations across Asia, the United States, Europe, and Latin America making more than 3 million pairs in to the real world — starting from footwear, accessories and evolving into production systems. My career began in sneaker design, R&D and product development, but after decades evolved into something deeper: understanding how products move from idea → factory → market across multiple countries. I founded and operated companies in Hong Kong, mainland China, and the U.S., managing sourcing, tooling, production, logistics, and brand launches for international clients, performance and streetwear brands.Over time I became less interested in individual products and more interested in the systems that allow products to exist at scale — repeatability, coordination, and manufacturing reliability. In 2016 I prototyped one of the first wearable 3D-printed sneakers using a home printer, which open me toward additive manufacturing and distributed production. Today my work centers designing manufacturing systems, Brands, product development and how digital products become physical products: secure file sharing, traceability, and accountability in manufacturing environments. My background combines:• product design & mass production• factory operations & quality control• international trade & supply chains• brand building & commercializationI have founded multiple profitable companies, launched global brands, and managed cross-border teams and operations. I speak Spanish, English, and Mandarin and have worked directly with manufacturers and partners across several jurisdictions worldwide. I’m particularly interested in the future of manufacturing — where production becomes digital, geographically distributed, and permission-based.Memberships:APEC Business Travel Card holderHong Kong–Chile Chamber of CommerceMentor, University of Oregon Sports Product Management ProgramSeparately, I study probabilistic decision-making and risk management through financial markets and systematic trading, which informs how I think about uncertainty, incentives, and governance in complex systems.
