Along with a close friend I created a small lawn care business, servicing residents of my hometown and neighboring towns. I was responsible for the communication and scheduling with all of our clients, as well as working on all of our jobs. The work ranged from weekly maintenance such as mowing and edging to more complicated projects such as planting, mulching and garden construction.

I worked part-time on various marketing projects and basic website maintenance. The marketing endeavors included email-ad campaigns, postcard and Facebook ads, catalog distribution, and analysis of the traffic sourced from the projects. I also learned the basics of Google Analytics while in this role. Basic website maintenance included taking care of broken links, duplicate products, incorrect or vague item descriptions, and entering missing billing information for non-automated orders.

Position as a server at a local restaurant. I turned over tables, interacted with the customers as well as kitchen staff, and learned how to cope with pressure during peak hours.
