About
My background is in political campaigns, policy analysis, and legislative advocacy. I have developed strong experience managing large-scale campaigns. In terms of specific skills, I have experience in staff management, research, fundraising (both grassroots and large donation-asks), volunteer recruitment, social media outreach, writing and communication, budget management, and coalition-building. I am passionate about many progressive causes, but chief among them are: opening our democracy to every person, reforming our criminal justice system, working on issues around poverty and wealth inequality (tax fairness, workers' rights, access to healthcare and education), LGBTQ Rights, Women's Rights, and fighting for and protecting the hard-earned civil rights of all Oregonians. I am fully committed to working to advance progressive ideals in Oregon, and am eager to be part of a team working to make a positive difference.

Specifically, that means bringing together different organizations, elected officials, and constituencies to establish solutions that will help limit the impact of big money in politics. In 2015, I: -Ran the largest effort for campaign finance reform in Oregon. We worked to pass Senate Joint Resolution 5, which would refer to the voters a constitutional amendment to authorize limits on campaign contributions. -Mobilized eighteen different organizations to lobby for SJR 5, and built a legislative majority in favor of the bill -Coordinated media and communications, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and policy development around the signature campaign finance reform proposal in the legislature.
