For a period of three months, I worked as an editorial intern at Flaunt magazine. The Los Angeles-based, independent magazine covers a plethora of topics examining provocative issues and ideas pertaining to art, fashion, film, music, media, and literature. Flaunt is published 10 times a year and distributed in over 32 countries.

Worked for a month styling and assisting the Creative and Editorial team on Real Living Magazine.

My primary role was to style photographic shoots for Linen House, a leading designer and supplier of bed linen and accessories.

Worked effectively as part of a boutique fashion sales team with emphasis on denim knowledge and jeans fittings. Duties included opening and closing shop, dealing with customer enquires and sales, completing stock take and cashing up duties.

Duties included dealing with customer enquiries and sales, operating photographic equipment and digital editing software (film developer, digital computer, printer, scanner), taking passport photographs and cash handling including till and credit card facilities.

My time at MGroup and Poster Magazine was enlightening on many levels. I worked closely and assisted the MGroup Creative Director and Poster Editor in Chief on various items and events pertaining to the magazine and agency, and liaised with luxury brands. MGroup is a luxury, integrated brand service agency with a publication called Poster Magazine. Poster delves headfirst in to design, architecture, fashion, art, music, business, travel, and global affairs – areas demanded by an increasingly discerning, educated audience with a hunger for creativity, inspiration and information.

In 2013, I moved in to the freelance arena as a Photographic and Interior Stylist. Based from the studio of boutique photography outfit, Lampoluce, I am enjoying working with advertising agencies, design companies and magazines nationwide on a multitude of exciting assignments including interiors, lifestyle and fashion shoots, magazine editorial, websites and look books. www.blackspicestudio.com.au

Work experience conducted with Cosmopolitan Magazine editorial department. Assisted with research and writing, propping fashion shoots and general office duties.

Worked in their offices on different occasions in the lead up to the 2007 and 2008 festivals and during the festivals at the various venues.

Completed final year focusing on subjects: English, Further Maths, Studio Art, Visual Communication and Design, and Philosophy.

Introduction to Photography; Technical and Aesthetic A practical course developing skills in camera operation focusing on assessing and producing visually dynamic photographs.

Intensive 5 week hands on course, with classes undertaken at Central St Martins in London, UK and NABA in Milan, Italy.

Full time, 2 year technical course involving subjects in Design, Life Drawing, Illustration, Production, Professional Practice, Technology and Pattern Making in the Fashion Industry.

Part time, two year course covering all aspects of Interior Design, commercial and residential. Subjects covered are Design, Graphic Communication, Product Knowledge, Construction and CAD and Materials and Finishes.
