Assisting with mouse behavior studies in animal models of Tourette Syndrome that harbor human mutations discovered in families.

I worked as Assistant Manager at my local restaurant, where I continued to strengthen my public speaking and customer service skills. My communication and organization qualities thrive at this job. I am currently one of the employees who have worked the highest amount of hours, showing leadership and reliability.

I worked at my local ice cream shop, where I dealt with customers placing orders. I acted as the shop's cake decorator, where I decorated the cakes that the customers had customarily ordered for special occasions. This job has further strengthened my time-management skills and organizational skills as well.

Gained advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Acquired strong communication and organization skills. Worked with sales and consumers which helped to strengthen my customer service skills. My teamwork and leadership qualities became useful when working with my coworkers discussing the company's future products.

* Assist staff veterinarians using safe animal handling and restraint techniques, while implementing active listening skills * Administer medications, as well as vaccinations via IM, SQ, and IV as prescribed by staff veterinarians * Perform proper animal husbandry to pets including but not limited to mammals, rodents, and reptiles * Execute nail trimmings, ear cleanings, fluids, glandular expressions, radiography, urinalyses, and blood draws on patients * Prepare and dispense prescriptions to clients as ordered by staff veterinarians by applying medical terminology knowledge & customer service
