About
I have extensive social work experience with a variety of client populations, from suburban youth to the urban homeless. My most recent position is a Social Work Intern at Greystone Park Psychiatric State Hospital's Admissions Unit in Morris Plains, NJ. I collaborate with a treatment team, managing a revolving caseload of approximately 500 patients. I perform psychosocial assessments, hold support groups for patients and caregivers, and serve as a liaison between patients and their doctors. At every position I have held, I have developed solutions to unique challenges. At the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, I was primarily a grant writer, applying for financial support and organizing a fundraising gala to elevate the agency’s influence in the community. At Middle Earth and The Hope Center, my involvement was more hands-on, meeting with clients on a daily basis to achieve life goals. Although Social Work is my main area of expertise, I am also passionate about leadership and education.
