Worked on a year long project for a competition sponsored by the Air Force Research Lab Designing and building a portable personnel bridge carried by soldiers that spans a 20 ft gap, weighs 5-20 lbs, able to fold into a 1-5 ft3 volume, is multipurpose, can support 350 lbs, and takes less than 20 min to assemble, cross, and disassemble.

Participated in student group that designs a remote control airplane for competition Led the structures group and collaborate in the design process of the plane Assisted with the production of wings and fuselage out of carbon fiber composites and balsa Collaborated on the design of the airplane on Pro/Engineering and Solidworks

Researched the forces and displacements needed to perform a hip reduction with the end goal of creating a simulator for medical students to practice Worked on collecting data from a cadaver using force transducers and 3D tracking equipment (3D trakSTAR) as the doctor performed hip reductions Created system and setup for testing on LabVIEW.

Project goal was to build a portable device for NASA in which astronauts can test if their body is prepared for a space walk, flying the ship, or returning to earth. Tests sensorimotor skills Worked on integrating software on a smaller tablet computer

Worked with Professor Joseph Katz, Professional Engineers, Ph.D students, and fellow undergraduates Testing a PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) system. Goal was to collect data on velocities at the boundary layer of the ocean Did testing off the coast of Atlantic City for 2 weeks in Summer 2011 Personally responsible during deployment for collecting data from the ADV (Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter) Helped build system, test all instruments, test pressure vessels for leaks, align and test dye laser, clean optics, test hydraulic system, make a 3D image of system
