Main responsibilities include: - Develop the sourcing strategies and deploy them in the Region (12 CP plants, 22 external manufacturers) - Secure tools & process initiatives to save >5% YoY and reduce risk of supply to support growth - Ensure skilled and committed organization is in place, leveraging analytics and automation - Develop supplier relationships to gain competitive advantage on security of supply & priority on innovation - Position Procurement as a key function to support profitable P&L while strengthening Corporate brands

Purview included organizational procurement for the Personal Care Product Category Europe; reported to the Global Procurement Director Personal Care.

Defined Global Procurement Strategy for all Fats & Oils materials used as a primary or secondary ingredients in the finished goods.

Led the supply chain operations for Oral Care products in Europe, coordinating new product's development and launch, managing the transition from multiple manufacturing plants to a new greenfield operation, optimizing demand vs supply and sourcing alternatives.

Designed and rolled-out the Regional Supply Chain Organization for Europe, designing & implementing new standard processes for all supply chain functions (Packaging, Technical, Procurement, Planning, Warehousing, Engineering, Quality, etc...)

Led procurement spend at contract manufacturers for Personal Care Europe, focusing on cost management and reduction of active external manufacturers.

Led, in ccordination with the regional marketing team, the technical design and development of materials used on new cosmetic products to be launched in the European Division and act as European coordinator to define common standards on material performance and quality controls for suppliers and manufacturing plants.

Design and development of packaging solutions for the products manufactured into the Italian plant with responsibility of quality control for incoming packing materials.
