About
Co-founded Numanac to establish nutritional food security through the world's most useful and accessible digital farm tools.Originally from rural Texas, I direct Numanac's operations towards making a meaningful impact in food security in the US and beyond.My Master of Architecture, where I focused my studies on post-conflict infrastructure development and both domestic and international policy regarding the build environment.Currently serving as a Major in the Select Marine Corps Reserve, I've spent a decade on active duty in the US Marines. My primary specialty was as an AH-1Z Viper (Cobra) Attack Helicopter Commander. I was also 1st Recon’s Air Officer & Airstrike Coordinator (FAC, JTAC-E, TS-SCI) for 1st Force Recon. I served in Management, Operations, investigations, Communications, Legal, Safety, Human Resources, and Teaching/Evaluating roles in tandem with my work as an Instructor Pilot. Before the Marines, I worked construction and architecture in the Design + Build field before, during and, after my time at Texas A&M. Architecture & Urban Planning
Course of study focused on comprehensive architectural design - from construction details and systems to urban and environmental design. Gained valuable BIM (Revit), modeling (Rhino), and visual communication (Adobe Suite) skills in conjunction with further refining oral and written communication skills. Studio critics: Martin Finio, Francis Kere, Amina Blacksher, Stella Betts, Miriam Peterson, & Nick McDermott. Supplemented architectural education with courses and audits at the Yale Schools of Global Affairs (International Development), Law & Business (cross enrolled in Affordable Housing Development), and Environment (Urban, Suburban and Regional Planning Practice with David Kooris and The Built Environment with Jen Shin).

Leadership, Strategy, & Communication
Delta Company, 2nd Platoon Completed multiple field exercises focused on leadership, judgement, teamwork, and stress management. Gained valuable constructive criticism spread across multiple demanding situations and developed significant skills in team management and human factor analysis along with military tactical training.

Graduated at the top of the Architecture Honors Class. Finished Summa Cum Laude with Presidents Endowed Honors, University Honors, and College of Architecture Honors. Awarded Presidents Endowed Scholarship, Keys to Aggieland Scholarship, Naval ROTC Marine Option Scholarship, 2009, R. Maria Architecture Scholarship, 2010, and Hayes Architecture Scholarship, 2012. Earned Deans Honor Roll fall of 2010, fall of 2011, spring and fall of 2012, and spring of 2013. Completed one semester with the Artemis Institute in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, as 1 of 7 in a Design-Build Program; finished project was a 1400 square foot pavilion. Accepted a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps upon graduation.
