Performing a key position as a Senior Buyer, I am accountable for buying dresses and woven tops/bottoms departments for River Island girlswear. I develop and execute product ranges that are trend-focused and commercial, and I am currently responsible for a team of four staff. Highlights from my role include: • Increased the mix of the girlswear dresses department and delivered notable profit for dresses and bottoms • Boosted departmental web mix and wholesale numbers, flagging and acting upon customer requirements across various channels and delivering in line with customer needs • Managed department product shift and decline in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent recovery of the department • Drove the launch of Ri Little, promoting twinning trends across womens and kidswear • Undertook 'champ' roles, including Home Production Champ, BAA champ and Wholesale champ

SENIOR BUYER (soft woven) Miss Selfridge London 2014 – 2015 Within this function, I undertook extensive ownership for buying of the soft woven department, including all product domains, i.e. tops, dresses and bottoms. In addition, I performed the position of Range Build Co-ordinator, leading the process for the Casual sector, flagging gaps and areas of concern, and offering recommendations to address matters. Highlights from my role included: • Implemented a downtime production initiative for margin improvement • Developed and grew the product choice, establishing short-lead trading routes as well as expanding the long-lead offer from India through various trips and effective engagement with suppliers

BUYER (Casual Jersey) Miss Selfridge London 2007 – 2013 Through this post, I oversaw buying for the company’s largest and most profitable department. I always delivered in line with KPIs, which delivered an uplift in profit and drove down m/d. With my confident management skills, I oversaw the buying team of three staff. Moreover, I travelled across the world for inspirational shopping (Tokyo, LA, New York and Stockholm), product development (Mauritius and Turkey) and trade shows (Copenhagen and Barcelona). Highlights from my role included: • Promoted from Buyer to Senior Buyer, grew the business and increased revenue through the introduction of various product types, including Barbie collaborations • Created and maintained a consistent supply base of three core suppliers, accounting for 60% of the supply • Attained financial objectives through precise forecasting of customer demand
