Responsible for overseeing global sourcing and procurement operations with a focus on supplier management, process optimization, and compliance.

Management of operational and strategic purchasing across the entire purchasing volume (Hydraulic Components Division). Determination of material costs for project costing. Risk & materials compliance management, identification of potential savings. Monitoring of procurement activities and MRP. Developing and implementing purchasing and supply strategies in coordination with management. Negotiate long-term framework agreements with local and global suppliers. Conducting supplier audits and purchasing controlling. Coordination of the process-related implementation of material compliance requirements. Current Special Tasks: Process analysis and optimization for the implementation of a new ERP system. Selection of appropriate systems, organization and execution of workshops together with key users and solution providers. Planning of further digitalization activities and a company-wide change management during and after the implementation of the ERP system.

Involvement in the set-up and further organizational focus and development of the branch office in Howrah (West Bengal). From August 2010 - November 2011 Acting Director of the branch, since 2012 Director and Member of the Board of W. Hunger Hydraulics India Pvt. Ltd. Until 2012: In charge of administrative management and organizational development of the branch. Launch of a reporting system, implementation of the group-wide corporate strategy and development of a strategy for the Indian market. Coordination of projects with the companies in Germany. Negotiation with authorities and close cooperation with German-Indian business associations. Further development of internal processes (workflow, sales, production planning, etc.). Development of calculation basics and guidelines for the Indian employees. Training, especially intercultural cooperation, understanding of processes, etc. Monitoring of target setting as well as initiation of corrective measures if necessary. Since 2012: Since 2012: regular stays in the Indian branch. Monitoring and control of the operational organization and processes. Support of the Indian colleagues in various projects. Close cooperation and consulting activity with the Chairperson and CEO of the Indian company, furthermore planning of further company development together with the management in Germany.
