Reporting directly to the company's CEO in Brazil and the global Tax and Controlling Officers in Germany. Directly managing 5 employees (1 Manager and 4 Controllers) and 25 employees indirectly throughout various branches in Brazil. Main Responsibilities:  Complete stewardship overall tax issues related to the company in Brazil (direct and indirect taxes, litigation and consultancy, tax planning and compliance, including all tax issues stemming from business done abroad);  Manager of expatriate affairs with a role in tax issues involving LATAM countries;  Comprehensive management of the Controller Area, including monthly closing costs, producing the annual business and budget plan, forecasts, internal controls, financial analysis, support for balance sheet reconciliation, financial reports, budget reviews;  Providing guidance for conducting business, including financial and tax risk management, preparation of controls, systems and processes for complete business viability;  Manager of the pricing policy in Brazil;  Performing systems tracking to ensure the accuracy of information and the proper management of KPIs;  Manager of bottom line profit by making department leaders aware of the results and the respective implications of business decisions in an effort to maximize profit or contain losses;  Acted as a focal point in various financial issues, from conducting fulfillment for local businesses to implementing and “tropicalizing” global strategies in the region;  Responsible for legal affairs with tax implications.

Report to the Chief Financial Officer in Brazil and to the Director of Tax Americas in the US.  Responsible for the administration and management of the company's tax department, including all corporate tax matters;  Litigation management and tax consulting (direct and indirect taxes);  Managed transfer pricing and tax planning;  Responsible for tax matters in LATAM.

Report to the general manager and partner of the Tax Area of the Law firm. Practicing attorney in tax litigation and tax advisory, direct and indirect taxes; Performance of oral arguments in tax administrative processes (municipal, state and federal levels); Participation in tax planning strategies for clients from various sectors.
