Major Duties: As a Civil Engineer with CNCEC, I was responsible for supervising daily site activities during the construction of an LNG facility, with a strong focus on pile foundation works, reinforcement placement, formwork, and concrete pouring. My role included conducting thorough QA/QC inspections to ensure all activities complied with project specifications, engineering standards, and safety protocols. I coordinated with engineers, subcontractors, and safety officers to maintain smooth operations and resolve on-site issues promptly. Additionally, I managed site documentation such as inspection reports, material approvals, and daily progress records, while also monitoring construction tolerances and addressing any non-conformities in line with the project’s quality plan. Successes: I successfully supervised the execution of over 100 pile installations with zero structural defects, ensuring full compliance with geotechnical specifications. My attention to quality helped reduce rework significantly and contributed to maintaining a strong QA/QC track record on-site. I also played a key role in fast-tracking foundation work, which helped the team achieve critical project milestones ahead of schedule. My commitment to safety, precision, and technical excellence earned positive recognition from senior supervisors and contributed to the overall success of the project phase under my supervision.
