The restart following the extended TAR was hydrocarbon leak free. * Visible safety leader on the platform. * Management of the maintenance backlog and of the deferral process. * Area Authority level ISSOW trained. * Mechanical Isolation Authority trained. * Received coaching in emergency response but the position did not have IMT duties attached to it.

* Maintenance planning and organisation. * Permit reviews and audits. * Supervision of vendors for specific maintenance. * Production optimisation support to the control room operators. * IMT duties and also attended in-house IMT training and Management of Major Emergencies course by Petrofac Training (received written feedback confirming that only limited coaching would be required to achieve the level of emergency response competency required from an OIM).

* Embedding of the Talisman Operational Excellence program on the offshore sites (Claymore, Fulmar, Buchan, Tartan and Flotta) through presentations, group coaching and 1 to 1 coaching. * Facilitation of loss reporting and loss events RCAs. (5-Why technique and Apollo RCA).

* Annual reserves evaluation through DCA analysis (Fulmar) and reservoir simulation (Halley). * Data quality check and conditioning (PLT, RFT, PBU, SCAL, production) for a future Fulmar reservoir simulation model build. * Redaction of a justification data pack for a coiled tubing well reinstatement campaign on the Fulmar field. * Reservoir engineering support to the Exploration team (generation of production profiles through first principles to support screening economic and well placement optimisation for well to be re-used for production in case of discovery).

* Follow-up and assistance to drilling operations on the Gyda platform. * Offshore trips to assist the night drilling supervisor during critical stages of the drilling operations (cement job calculations, tubular and completion jewellery checks, daily report redaction). * Written reporting of drilling operations to the Norwegian NPD.

* Compliance coordinator for a group of 4 installations (organise responses to ICP anomalies under PFEER regulations). * Coordination of the responses to Health and Safety Executive queries following offshore sites visits. * Coordination of the deferred oil reporting for one group of the company’s UK assets. * Attended an OIM Legislation course during the period (Petrofac Training).

* Reservoir monitoring and voidage optimisation. * Well test analysis, well modelling and gas lift optimisation. * Wells screening for intervention and data gathering opportunities. * Mid-term production forecast and field data management. * Data preparation for DECC submission and consent requests. * Production allocation and deferred oil accounting.

* Focal point for the offshore production team. * Coordinating activities on the 28 days plan. * Managing the Threat and Opportunity register, Synergi actions and ICP anomalies. Drove a large reduction in long term legacy ICP anomalies. * Supporting the management of operational deviations and risk assessments. * Coordinating topside activities for the conversion of a water injector into a producer – project delivered over £5M of free cash. * Leading a crane slew bearing and boom replacement project. Completed on time and on budget without any safety incident. * Supporting a pipeline topside ESDV refurbishment project. Leading a number of HAZID sessions, including one for the completion of a hot tap. Leading regulator engagement regarding the repair methodology with excellent feedback received. * Covering for offshore management team absences.
