Daniel Anagnostopoulos

Beginning my career in customer service at Hardings hardware. In this role I mostly dealt with some of Australia's largest builders via phone and email on a daily basis. After 1 year in this role management promoted me to a more advanced role in purchasing. It was in this role where I developed the majority of the skills I have today. My role was mainly focused around managing inventory levels, managing claims and attending to issues where stock had been lost or damaged and was one of the senior employees in a small sub-section of the business. After nearly 2 years in this role the business gave me the responsibly of Managing the purchasing for our newly opened store in NSW branch. I was able to do this remotely for almost a year until the store was up and running to have a team up there full time. Although 2020 was a difficult year for all this was the year which helped me grow and take the next step of my career, I was given the opportunity to move into the warehouse operations to gain a firsthand understanding on how the business operates working closely with the site manager of Hardings hardware. Being the leader for both Inbound and outbound duties working with the teams to ensure we receive the correct stock and also dispatch the correct stock to our customers.
