Process Design Engineer for Pre-FEED contract for the upgrade of the Waste water treatment plant in Mesaied- Qatar Petroleum Refinery Upgrade Plant.

Designed wastewater treatment systems for QP Refinery (UF, RO, sludge treatment). Prepared detailed process designs, equipment specs, and client reports. Participated in equipment selection & QHSE implementation.

Technical Duties:  Study the project specifications to fulfil the technical requirements.  Preparation of process design & process calculation validated by Engineering director.  Preparation of Process Flow Diagram, Piping and Instrumentation diagram & lay out for validation.  Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications & data sheets.  Participate in final selection of equipment.  Participate in technical discussion with client.  Conducting Risk Review Analysis.  Co-ordinate with all team members to formulate strategy with multidisciplinary & cost-effective approach & achieve the timely proper submission of tenders.  Participation in HAZOP studies and close-out. Commercial Duties:  Phase-1 (Pre-tender stage): Participate in the assessment of the projects feasibility Study for the Company (GO/NO GO Studies)  Phase-2 (Tender stage): Once we have a GO Decision, I lead the team for tender stage which include engineering team, Legal, finance, Planning. In addition to my role as leader for the tender process team I also do the costing by making the Work Breakdown Structure and define all project elements to cost the same.  Phase-3 (Project execution stage): After the successful tender stage and the award of the project, I participate in reviewing all contract documents to ensure that it reflects all what was agreed during the tender stage.  I monitor the cost with the project engineer, adjusting for any deviation and report the commercial situation in each financial quarter to the management
