Dani Crow

When I started my career, I didn’t know being a Leader and an Accounting Nerd was an option, but I’m so glad I found out that it is. I help lead a group of Accounting Unicorns in a team environment. Everyone has their strengths, and we play to those strengths, but we complement each other to reach our goals as a Team. Over the years I have had exposure to many different areas of accounting with a focus in GAAP compliant financial reporting, including M&A and Divestitures. In my current role, I help lead the monthly close process for multiple entities in multiple accounting systems. I also help facilitate, organize, and partner with external auditors for annual audits. I thrive on problem solving and always stress to approach problems with a solution driven mindset. I like to tell the Team that we are Professional Puzzlers: we take many pieces and put them together to view the complete picture. DiSC Leadership Style: As an iS, I prioritize Collaboration, Enthusiasm, and Support with a branch that stretches into the C realm for a priority in Accuracy (not a typical characteristic for an iS). I love developing relationships and inspiring others to do their best. I emphasize accuracy and precision along with identifying ways to improve processes from the root cause. I believe in ownership of one’s work and holding people accountable. I believe in supporting people, empowering people, and helping them grow. Being an Accountant requires hard work and sometimes long hours, cultivating a Team that can still have fun in that environment will bring out the best possible results in culture and accuracy.
