As a consulting associate, I work in tandem with our senior level consultants to provide strategic media advice and recruitment services to a variety of our local TV station clients.

Through video production, I helped small businesses and organizations find unique ways to tell their stories and reach potential clients.

Each day this position required me to shoot, write, edit and present live broadcast stories independently with little supervision. I would also generate, execute and promote unique content to attract audience members. Content was then published using AP style for web and social media.

While at UMD, I formulated lesson plans and served as solo instructor for 25 undergraduate students. This also entailed troubleshooting and making changes to lessons as classroom needs adjusted. I also served as a professional resource for writers of all levels in the library workshop.

Helped launch the station's first morning newscast as morning anchor, producer and newsroom supervisor. Prior to that, I shot, wrote, edited and presented stories on a daily basis as a general assignment reporter.
