Literacy Instructional Specialist for k-2 teachers: -provides in-class coaching on all elements of reading and writing for K-2 teachers -facilitates in-school workshops with teachers and/or parents -leads collaborative planning meetings with all primary grade teachers in the school

-Interned as a school leader to lead grade study meetings and trainings for 7 2nd grade teachers to plan and implement curriculum as well as enhance teacher practice through hosting intervisitations on targeted teacher practices, runs academy meetings with 14 teachers in grades 1-5 around an inquiry study to implement learning targets in the classroom. I also created teacher and student teams to host a series of parent math game nights throughout the year. -Planned and implemented Teacher’s College modeled lessons based on Common Core State Standards in all subject areas for a general education 2nd grade classes of about 25 students, aligned to the Charlotte Danielson’s Teaching Framework -Secretary for the School Leadership Team from 2011- 2014 to record minutes of monthly meetings and distribute information to the rest of the staff, contributed to the creation and editing of school’s Comprehensive Education Plan for state approval, as well as aided in the implementation of various programs for students, parent workshops and assemblies to further community involvement -Created a Respect Anti- Bullying a series of nonfiction books and ‘Fairy Tale’ Books with students to enforce the importance of having respect for others and how to prevent bullying -Worked an afterschool program 3 days a week for 13 2nd grade ELL students in 2010 -Worked an afterschool program 2 days a week for 30 4th grade ELL and Special Needs Students in 2012-2013 -Choreographed afterschool Dance club routines since 2011 for an annual showcase performance for parents, students and staff

-Conducts a series of research assignments around the DTSDE review process -Creates the professional development content for an activity or task that a DTSDE recipient must learn as part of the DTSDE review process -Researches the concepts (school leader practices and decisions, curriculum development and support, teacher practices and decisions, student social and emotional developmental health and family and community engagement) that implements the DTSDE rubric at an actual school, rating the school practice and provides evidence that supports the rating as substantiated by a variety of artifact submissions

-Planned, organized and hosted Teacher Mentor Program, Freshman Transition & Sixth Grade Orientations -Worked on 2015-2016 class schedules through Infinite Database for the whole Middle School -Organized and assembled April Math & ELA State Testing Materials with department supervisors -Conducted interviews with new substitute teachers for the fall -Facilitated a meeting with a student in regards to sustaining his behavior plan consistently with all of his teachers

-Coordinated scheduling for 350 students enrolled in the Summer Experience Program -Maintained constant communication with parents and teachers on a daily basis -Facilitated solutions for many unpredictable occurrences throughout program concerning inclement weather, maintenance/town conflicts, as well as students, parents and/or teachers needs

Substitute Teacher -Elementary School for Special Education 3rd- 5th grades, General Education 5th Grade and Physical Education classes -Middle School as a Special Education Aide for a 1 week period -High School as a One-to-One Special Education Aide for a 3 week period Teaching Assistant April - June 2009 -Assisted daily lessons with leave replacement teacher in Grade K-2 Special Education Class -Implemented Smartboard Math and English lessons
