I execute up to 300 internal broadcasts a year for Groupon's internal communications, some of them global reaching over 3000 employees. This includes system architecture for the capture and processing of live broadcasts and streaming them globally. I've designed and implemented a complete back-up system for video archiving with a lifespan of 30 years. Currently we are trying to implement multicast for our livestreams to improve the quality of webcasts in remote regions with limited network capabilities. Other skills include cisco telepresence operation and trouble shooting with some architecture experience including creating Video Meeting Rooms in TMS and configurations in the MCU. My department has grown cisco telepresence over 400% from the time we have started. There is a helpdesk component to my job. When employees of Groupon experience issues with Telepresence or AV equipment, I respond to their calls to ensure their success. I also troubleshoot signal path in low-voltage electronics in conference rooms to ensure video/PC projection.
