* A Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is a trusted business advisor to the Microsoft Premier Services customers providing valuable guidance around operations and optimization of their IT infrastructure. By maintaining a long-term relationship with their customers a SDM gains an understanding of the customers 'IT organization' impact on overall business, IT goals and pain points. This information is used by the SDM to better support the customers' operational success with Microsoft products. The value the SDM brings to the customer is successful operation, and hence realization of value, of Microsoft products. The value the SDM brings to Microsoft is increased customer satisfaction, reduced support costs, and awareness needed around product improvements. * Tasks & Responsibilities: * Ownership of the operational and tactical customer relationships * Drive Operational Excellence * Escalation- and Incident Management, including post-mortems * Software & Solution Lifecycle management * Service Delivery Planning and Execution * Defend/Explain the Microsoft position
