Deputy Command Surgeon. (Sr Advisor to CEO) Senior staff officer responsible for joint and combined health service support in the 20 country U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Operations (AOR). Supervised and synchronized contingency, wartime, and peacetime support by directing medical operations, planning, medical intelligence, force health protection, exercises, and security assistance activities to meet U. S. national objectives. Ensured the resourcing of a multi-national medical support structure in the USCENTCOM AOR, including 5 subordinate service components, 9 Coalition Task Forces, and U. S. Special Operations Forces. Directly coordinated with unified commands, the Joint Staff, Departments of Defense and State, and the interagency community. Directly supervised 14 tri-service officers

Chief of Staff. (COO) Supervised a headquarters staff responsible for nine battalions dispersed over a thirteen state area comprised of 2,800 military, civilian and contract personnel, 1800 vehicles, and 422 facilities. Directed the execution of a $26 million command operating budget, managed all administrative and logistics functions, and supervised a complex information management network to accomplish the wartime recruiting mission. Supervised an extensive Organizational Inspections Program and supervised the legal / investigations divisions. Developed and implemented strategic, operational and marketing plans. Directed the execution of a $10 million advertising program and oversaw all public affairs activities.

Battalion Commander. (CEO) Led a Medical Recruiting Battalion consisting of five recruiting companies that operated 17 recruiting stations, 71 vehicles and 90 personnel dispersed over a ten-state area covering 472,000 square miles in the upper Midwest United States. Responsible for recruiting high quality health care professionals for the Army Medical Department consisting of 65 specialties that span the entire spectrum of health care to include physicians, Dentists, Nurses, Allied Health Specialists, Scientists, and Veterinarians. Managed 250 students in 12 student programs, and 11 financial incentive programs. Directed the execution of $4 million budget that covered advertising, training, administration, logistics, facilities and security.

Director of Medical Operations. Served on Combatant Command staff as senior medical operations officer responsible for joint and coalition health service support operations in the 27 country US Central Command Theater of War. Serves as the Combined Forces Command medical operations officer for Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Executed current operations to ensure joint and coalition synergism with medical planning, intelligence, logistics and patient movement across all Joint, Special Operations, Coalition Task Forces, Joint Staff, Defense and State Departments, and the interagency community.

Assistant Professor. US Army Command General Staff College faculty member responsible for planning, developing, and presenting graduate-level, multifunctional logistic instruction at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of war for Active, Reserve, and international officers. Served as the subject matter expert on all matters concerning Military Health Services. Reviewed and updated Army Medicine doctrine, authored two graduate level courses, and supervised a health services seminar group of 42 medical officers each semester.

Support Operations Officer. Directed the combat service support operations in support of a Brigade Combat Team consisting of two Armor, one Mechanized Infantry, one Artillery, and one engineer battalion. Provided technical assistance and staff supervision of maintenance, supply, and medical company operations. Managed field and garrison multi-commodity warehouse operations that stocked and distributed fuel, petroleum products, parts, ammunition, medical supplies, rations, and engineer materials. Planned, coordinated and executed all internal and external logistics operations for a 5,000 Soldier Task Force. Executed Battalion Task Force deployments to Kuwait Bosnia and numerous movements throughout CONUS.

Served as Department of Defense / Tri-Service Medical Plans officer responsible with supporting wartime and Disaster support plans for a 12 State area that is aligned with FEMA regions. Integrated the TriService capabilities and Defense medical support plans with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Health and Human Services, and the National Disaster Medical system. Coordinates for care of casualties returning from a theater of war and for victims of disasters during a DoD supported Military Support to Civilian Authorities mission. Established a regional liaison network with government and civilian healthcare and emergency preparedness agencies.

G3/5/7 (Chief Operating Officer) Executes Army Medicine (AMEDD) responsibilities related to healthcare operations, Strategic Planning, Army medical readiness management, training, security, and intelligence, forces protection, law enforcement, anti-terrorism, bio-surety for US Army MEDCOM, a three Star direct reporting unit headquarters, with 13 world-wide major subordinate commands, consisting of 485 medical, dental, research and veterinary facilities, with over 75,000 assigned personnel and a $12 Billion annual budget that supports more than 3.5M beneficiaries with medical and dental services, operates a medical training university, conducts medical research and development, provides veterinary services, and provides global force health protection services in the form of health promotion, prevention and environmental assessment . Executes Military Vaccine Agency and DoD Blood Program Office Executive Agent missions. Manages a $55M annual budget

Serves as Program Manager for the MSSI Contract (Medical Support Services - Iraq) in support of the Department of State mission in Iraq. Supervises and manages 3 Diplomatic Support Hospitals and 9 Diplomatic Hospital Units (Clinics). Provides comprehensive medical support from Level 1 Emergency Medical Services to level 3 surgical resuscitation & hospitalization to more than 12,000 personnel at 12 different locations within the country of Iraq.

Responsible for the successful execution of all domestic medical management programs. Current domestic programs include a wide range of customized commercial and governmental workforce medical exam programs supported by an extensive national network of health care providers, implementation of substance abuse management programs and maintaining a medical readiness and response capability to offer on-site medical care, health screening, training and disaster response during times of urgent need. Supports business development in marketing and proposal development.
