Wrote Chef recipes for a number of multi-environment infrastructure and application services supporting a Saas business, including custom Knife plugins, Serverspec test suites, and LWRPs. Incorporated community cookbooks into our wrappers for ElasticSearch, Ruby on Rails, and Clojure applications. Employed a variety of AWS services including ELBs, RDS, Autoscale Groups and Launch Configurations making use of AWS CLIs and APIs wherever possible to create robust, scalable, repeatable, secure application environments. Configured Jenkins CI to provision AWS server instances, deploy code from Git repositories, and build and circulate Java artifacts to many different application servers, as well as automate backups and snapshots.
