Implemented 1st corporate Manufacturing Execution System (Camstar/Siemens MES); FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant; electronic Device Master Record (eDMR) & Device History Record (eDHR). Sort-Test Technology Development - Logic Technology Development Group Directed Test Vehicle Program – included managing team of 10 product test development engineers (PDE), supported & facilitated 60nm & 45nm 300mm wafer & unit level test development, debug, troubleshooting, and experiments; enabled next generation test and silicon process development. Drove comprehensive use of test vehicles in silicon & test process technology development. Managed tactical and strategic topics, test capacity, hardware inventories. Advanced Components Division - Enterprise Platform Group Divisional Quality & Reliability Engineering Manager for Advanced Components Division. Managed team of 30 engineers, including 4 group leaders & extended personnel from international locations. Managed quality assurance activities; responsible for qualifying division’s products on schedule, meeting quality and reliability goals & ensuring Enterprise Platform functionality. Developed capabilities for reliability stress testing & product qualification. Drove product qualification for over 18 components from definition to production, including first IA64 chipset platform. Managed and communicated comprehensive product risk assessments, drove product reliability requirements into designs and business processes, reduced debug time and required qualification resources; executed product qualification.

Sort-Test Technology Development Quality & Reliability Department Responsible for technology risk assessment and Test Process Certification & technology transfer, including hardware modules, test methods, & quality operating systems – wafer level test to final component testing. Managed numerous technology manufacturing & cost reduction projects across international locations. Provided link to senior, cross organizational management team for leading edge microprocessor ramp – results established new corporate benchmarks for socket reductions and cost savings while maintaining quality levels. Conducted cross factory and technology gap analysis of data collection, automation, and analysis capabilities. Established and managed microprocessor manufacturing quality team charged with defining and implementing corporation wide test requirements, as well as evaluating outgoing quality levels for microprocessor products.

Fab 5, Fab 15 - Technology Manufacturing Group Responsible for reliability of outgoing fab products; managed quality operating systems to include material review board systems and reliability monitoring. Chaired joint engineering team to provide direction, prioritize tasks, and align to management direction. Supported 1st ”Copy Exactly!” development, implementation, & technology transfer methodology. Established first cross factory material review board system covering 3 fabs , 2 assembly/test sites, and 3 product divisions. Resulted in direct impact on product availability with zero losses to factory production commitments. Developed robust factory cross-site containment system. Reduced escapes to zero and improved planning forecasts.

Planned and managed artillery support for military operations – managed fire support team of 8 employees. Active duty army.
