As the owner and operator of DMF Bait, I have carried forward the legacy of a family-owned enterprise established in 1977. Founded by three school teachers (including my father), we have nurtured our humble beginnings in Pontiac, Michigan, into a nationwide presence. Our collective commitment to providing quality live bait and ensuring live delivery across 49 states showcases our love for fishing and dedication to excellence. My journey over these decades has been marked by adeptly leveraging skills in process improvement and business development -- enabling us to expand our sales, customer base, and product range throughout the US while adapting to evolving market trends and customer needs. Pioneering in the 1980s, we were the first to transport live products via common carrier, setting a new standard in the industry. Our packaging strategies have consistently led the industry, being the only live bait company to use a compostable cup, and our worm packing has been recognized for its superior quality and efficiency. Operating DMF Bait transcends a rewarding challenge; it's about creating employment and contributing to our communities. My heart is with my family, yet my business runs a close second. My ambition is to keep broadening our reach and diversifying our products, aspiring to establish DMF Bait as the foremost name in live bait nationwide. Our success hinges on effectively serving our distributors. DMF Worms are readily available nationwide, from major chains to small convenience stores. Retailers of all sizes, from local mom-and-pop shops to giants like Walmart, observe a boost in both fishing and non-fishing-related products when they stock our live bait.
