Damon Rushing, SIT

Surveyor in Training (SIT) with 25+ years of experience delivering high-impact geospatial solutions across all areas of land surveying. I work directly with clients and contractors to keep projects on schedule and within scope, while managing overall project execution, including leading both office and field teams to ensure operations run smoothly. I oversee proposals and billing. My background includes leadership roles in construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and a wide range of other project types, where I’ve helped lead projects to successful completion. I’m an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot with experience in aerial mapping, photogrammetry, and data processing using industry-standard software platforms. I focus on combining drone technology with traditional surveying methods to improve efficiency and deliver actionable insights, ranging from orthomosaics to surface models. I’m also highly proficient with Leica and Trimble GPS systems and AutoCAD Civil 3D for producing accurate and reliable deliverables. I’m currently working toward RPLS licensure and continuing to build toward greater leadership and project management responsibilities. Active member of TSPS, NSPS, and ASPRS.
