I am a student at Year Up and I’m studying the field of information technology. Year Up is a program that provides young adults from the ages of 18-24 with six months of classes in IT or Financial operations and then placed in an internship at a company for an additional six months. I am currently interning at Fidelity Enterprise Infrastructure, as a desktop support technician. I handle about 10-15 tickets a day whether it is changing toners, providing users with equipment, troubleshoot peoples problems, and re-image or wiping computers/laptops.
