Responsibilities & areas of expertise: • Lead a team of six engineers to implement optimization solution in NBN Fixed Wireless Radio Network (4G-LTE) to maintain end user performances. • Conduct weekly governance meetings with the customer (NBN) and deliver contractual KPIs and SLAs. • Develop and introduce new processes and tools to automate manual tasks to improve efficiency. • Plan and manage rapid capacity expansions projects. • Develop performance and project dashboards using visualisation tools (Tableau, MS Excel) • Expert knowledge in 5G and 4G RAN Architecture, Design and Optimization. • Expert knowledge in Ericsson RAN configurations and license management using ENM, AMOS

Responsibilities & areas of expertise: • Customer Solutions Responsible (CSR) for all ongoing projects with Dialog and RFPs under Ericsson Sri Lanka • Creating High-level and low-level solution designs for LTE FDD and TDD expansions. • Transport network designing with Ericsson Mini-Link TN and 6000 series products. • Expert in design and optimization of RAN with Ericsson product portfolio. • Up-to-date knowledge on new RAN technologies such as NB-IoT/CAT M1, Massive-MIMO, and 5G NR. • Conducting POCs and trials to introduce new products and solutions. • Continuously work with the customer planning teams in increasing the efficiency of the radio spectrum and provide guidelines in finalizing future 5G spectrum. Continuously work on the design process improvement and be aware of the emerging technologies which can contribute towards the benefit of the Customer network. Achievements • Key member of the leadership team to conduct the “South Asia’s first 5G Demo” using Ericsson 5G Phase-1 system. • Successfully conducted the South Asia’s first NB-IoT/CAT-M1 trial and commercial deployment with Dialog Axiata. Conducted several presentations at public sessions in Sri Lanka representing Ericsson and did few knowledge sharing sessions to MOAI team Solutions team. • Recognized as one of ‘Ericsson’s Key Contributors!’ in 2018.

Work at Zantel as a secondment under Etisalat Group as a RF consultant. - Responsible for Creating QOS/KPI reports from scratch for GSM/GPRS. - Introducing KPI dashboards to company and make the network status more visible to the Management team. - Introducing new procedures and information flows to company. Ex : TRX Addition guide line, Air combining, cluster ownership and weekly BSS reporting structure. - Physical and logical parameter optimization to reduce the congestion in network and improve the CSR to 98%. - LAC redefining based on the paging load of the network and BSC capacity to improve SDCCH accessibility beyond 97%. - GPRS throughput improvements through the implementation of new PCUs and re-defing the DPDCH allocation for cells.
