Help develop new social media strategies and content for the technology and occupational sciences programs at NMU

Position within housing a residence life as a community advisor (CA) for the on-campus apartments. Responsible for the safety and accommodations for the tenants within the building including but not limited to, lock outs, fire safety, community event planning, and community engagement.

Assisted building and grounds supervisor with the custodial care of dormitory, including cleaning, painting, general maintenance and setting up rooms for camps and conferences as well as the move-in of residents

Assisted with the front desk of multiple buildings within NMU including mail services and cash exchange, as well as setting up, checking in/out residents, tenants, camps, conferences, and orientation students.

Responsible for the safety and community engagement of resident within a dormitory on campus, created events and provided opportunities for residents while maintaining a positive role within community. Also responsible for the safety and security of the building including fire safety and adherence to all student code policy’s

I am in charge of many aspects of our visual and audio publishings, including the capture and editing of photos, videos, podcast, and short-form articles. I help run a broadcasting internship within the university within this role.

Specialized in sports and sport feature stories, involved in the interviewing, coverage and promoting of NMU athletics from NCAA to intermural as well as outdoor life.

Working in the building materials department, assisted guest with creating and selling invoices for projects and material needs. Familiarized with not only the location of products but also with the general application of products and the differences between brands. Helped designed personalized projects with guest and calculated needs of materials.

Assistant in general labor for roofing, window installment, carpentry, general construction, and insulation while working for specialist. This included not only the cleanup but as well as assisting in the construction of all assets involved.

I am currently a student at Northern Michigan University studying Multimedia Journalism with a minor in English and a minor film studies, I have served two years within housing residence life as a residential advisor in the dorms and am currently serving as a community advisor for the on-campus apartments. I have been involved with the student paper on campus since I started my college career (currently 3 years) as both a sports focused writer and currently the Multimedia Editor where I focus in photography and social media but also produce all forms a visual and audio based content. Outside of classes and work I am the president of the student-led food insecurity group on campus known as Marquette Ending Hunger
