I have a had a successful career in both Construction, Education & Training and more recently in pest control. I lead by example and I seek to provide a clear vision for team members and associated staff to follow. I am always prepared to think outside the box and support the use of new technologies and trends to enhance the customer experience. Since 1989 I have been involved with construction industry completing my carpentry apprenticeship before eventually becoming a small business owner in 2004. Consistently re-educating myself to remain current in existing and new industries which match my skill set. I have value my reputation and remain committed to my workplace averaging 6 years of service with respective employers that I have worked for.

During my 6 years with the business I progressed to Leading hand Carpenter/Foreman from carpentry tradesman.Projects were varied with the construction of Forest Lake retirement villages (Albany Creek and Taringa) being the prominent type of construction undertaken. My role was to liaise with contractors and suppliers from site clearing to completion of each building consisting of four to eight 2 storey apartments. I was appointed as one of the companies first safety officers to implement robust safety policy and procedures. Managing staff and sub contractors scheduling works including procurement to make sure projects were completed on time and to budget.
